Our private workroom is now open and available for your cropping pleasure!  Daily from 12-4, bring your basic supplies and photos, and play to your heart’s content, at no charge. Our friendly, creative staff enjoys sharing a passion for paper-crafting, and we’d love to help you with any of your projects.  We also provide FREE Beginner’s Demonstrations on crop days; if you’ve always wanted more information on the world’s most popular hobby, please stop by and we’d be delighted to get you started. Tea & coffee provided!

Kim's class on MAKING DESIGNING EASIER starts this Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30 p.m. for 3 weeks in a row. She will be
covering several different concepts and we will create layouts as we learn the concepts. A real must class for scrapbookers!!! Call the store to register and get the handout for the first class. The cost is $25.00 for
the 3 classes.

Another reminder that this Friday, May 14th is another of our fun filled Crop till U drop from noon till midnight. The cost is $5.00 if you preregister and $7.00 if you register the night of the crop. Join us for a great fun time.

One more riminder that Doreen is teaching a fun mini album on Sat. May 15th from 1:00-3:00 p.m. for a cost of $15.00. This is a different little album and is great fun to make. Call the store to register for this fun class!

Our private workroom is OPEN and available for bookings: Girls nights out, kids, adults and teen birthday parties (you're never too old to celebrate with a scrapping party!), special interest groups (churches, brownies, elective groups, etc.)

Tuesday is STAMPING DAY! Join Deanna for a FREE afternoon of stamping play using our fully stocked workshop.  Deanna is the master of all things stamping, so come on in and visit any Tuesday, from 12-4.

We also feature “Crop til U Drop” nights, every 2^nd Friday, from noon-midnight (members are free, non-members $5) where you can come in and use our fully stocked workroom, join in the games & fun!  These evenings are popular; please call ahead to reserve your spot.  An instructor is available for ideas and guidance.  Are you from out of town? The greater North Bay area? Why not let us hold a crop or class just for you and your friends! BEGINNER’S CLASSES:  We just love to get people started scrapbooking, because we love it so much!  Our beginner’s classes will provide you with all the information (& more!) you ever wanted to know, as well as all the supplies required to create your first 2 pages!  Bring up to 7 related photographs, and you’ll leave with a simply beautiful layout!  $10+tax, please call to reserve your spot!

Ask us for help—we’ve been scrapbooking for years and have extensive knowledge of products & techniques.!

· Don’t feel you have to scrapbook every photo.  Consider choosing only the photos that best depict the event/feeling you want to capture. Then place extras in an acid-free photo album or storage box.

· Set aside time to scrapbook!  Crops are a great way to get motivated to scrapbook

KIDS CLASSES:  We love to share scrapbooking with children, and we currently run 2 programs:  Little Scrappers for Children ages 4-9 (parent-assisted projects),  and a ‘Tween Club, for children ages 8+, who bring their photos & supplies and have a play date with us!  We provide supplies for one 12X12” layout, and the rest is playtime!  The cost for both of these classes is $5+ tax each.

SCRAPBOOKING TIPS

The most common complaint I hear from scrapbookers is that they feel overwhelmed by the number of photos they have to scrapbook, and they just don’t have the time…& then there’s the huge selection of products & ideas available on the market….it’s just too much!  We have a few suggestions that will hopefully clear up any confusion:

· Break your work down into categories, then break categories into pages.  Place the groupings in separate baggies and collect various embellishments/paper that you think might work with those photos.  If you NEED to shop, bring your baggies and choose product to coordinate with the photos

· Try not to get hung up on making each page an original work of art; scrapbooking is a hobby to be enjoyed...period.  THERE IS NO RIGHT OR WRONG WAY TO SCRAPBOOK!.
